HIGH HOPES CHALLENGE #67

Good morning everyone

We had some nasty weather roll through here yesterday....cold, windy and rainy, but the up side is there is not a flake of snow left!! Spring is truly on it's way!!!

This weeks High Hopes Challenge is brought to us by the lovely Amy L and she has chosen "Flutterbys"......anything with wings.

There are lots of High Hopes images with wings...from angels to dragons and if you don't have a winged image....try adding wings to an image you have...like some of our very talented and amusing Diva's have done. Be sure to check out the High Hopes Blog to see creativity at work!!!

The adorable image I have used on my card is "Frances Owl" and "You're a Hoot" sentiment.

You will be shocked to know that I put my Tombows away for this one.......
I embossed the image with black and painted it with Ranger Distress inks......it's about time I tried something different...eh!!
I used icicle H2o's on her eyes. I cut out some extra flowers for around the sentiment. The frames were cut with my nesties. The bottom borders were punched with my EK Success border punch and the scallop border was cut with a pair of scallop scissors and I used my piercing tool to add the holes. The DP is from a Basic Grey paper pack.

Be sure to use a High Hopes image on your card to be eligible for your chance to win this weeks prize.

Have a fabulous day and Thanks so much for stopping by....

KAREN x

Still creating masterpieces!!!! I haven't been commenting much lately BUT...I had high speed internet installed today. So now I can surf to my hearts content...only now I don't have anything I want to do. How quickly one forgets. Love the new look of your blog..it's my favorite.
