Flourishes...Fit for Royalty Challenge
Hi everyone;
You know the saying " Be careful what you wish for".....well we wished for heat and did we get it!! The temp was 31C with a humidex of 42C with thunderstorms on the way. Thank goodness for air conditioning...cause it is HOT!!
Flourishes has a fabulous challenge going on to celebrate their 2nd birthday. The challenge is to create a card "Fit for a King or Queen".
I am a little out of my element making cards with a lot of glitz, but I thought I would challenge myself and give it a try.
The images I have used are from the set "Chairs for You".
I stamped the images with Perfect medium and embossed them with gold. I painted the images with Tombows. I cut the dog out and layered it. I painted the chair with a Gelly Roll metallic gold pen. The white gems on the chair frame and dogs bed are done with white Liquid Pearls. The sentiment was stamped with black Stazon onto shrink film and shrunk. I used Perfect medium on the back of the sentiment and dipped it into gold embossing powder and heat set. It's really hard to see the sentiment as it is small but it says "missing you" and it is from a set from Inkadinkado. The DP is from Graphics 45. The glitter flourishes and pearls are from my stash.
I hope you like it
Thanks so much for stopping by, I truly appreciate you taking the time to leave such wonderful comments.
