High Hopes Challenge #86

Good morning everyone.....
I hope you are having a great weekend. We finally got our rain yesterday....all day, but the good thing is that it didn't storm. All the trees and plants have perked up as it has been ages since we have had a drop.

It's time for the High Hopes Challenge!! This weeks challenge is brought
to us by the lovely "Alex" and she has chosen "Anything but a Card".

I decided to make a "Honey Do List" for our fridge!! My hubby hasn't seen it
yet....not sure if he will be too impressed....lol!!!

This was really difficult to get a good pic of.... it took me forever!!

The images I have used are "Handy Dragon"
and "Four Tool Set"

I embossed the images with black and painted
them with Tombows. I stamped the tools onto
black linen CS and embossed them with clear powder.
I layered the black with cork. I couldn't find my screw head
brads so I cut off some real screws and added
some curled wire.

Be sure to stop by the High Hopes Blog and check out the
awesome creations the Diva's have come up!!

I hope you will have time to play along with us this week
and remember to use a High Hopes image on your card

HIGH HOPES CHALLENGE #83

Good morning everyone.....
Its great to be back from our vacation...we had a wonderful time soaking up the sun and walking the low tides. The weather was fabulous too.

It's time again for the High Hopes Challenge.
This weeks challenge is "USE YOUR FAVORITE EMBELLISHMENT".

The adorable image I have used on my card is "WADE".

As most of you know my favorite embellishment is "STICKLES"

I embossed the images with black and painted them with Tombows. I cut them out and layered them. The waves were punched with my EK Success punch. The DP is from Crate Paper. I added lots of stickles and some dew drops.

I hope you will have time to play along with us this week and be sure to stop by the High Hopes Blog as the Diva's have created some awesome cards to inspire you.

Here are a couple of pic's from our vacation.......
There was a storm across the water....which we missed thank goodness!!!

This is the Confederation Bridge joining New Brunswick and PEI. It's 12.9 km (8miles) over the Northumberland Strait. The longest bridge in the world over ice covered water.
Not a bridge for sissies....lol!!

Well that's it for now....I'm happy to be back to my computer and all my blogging friends....

Have a wonderful day and Thanks so much for stopping by...
