It's time for the High Hopes Challenge. This weeks host is the lovely Amy W and she would like us to use "Orange, Brown and a Circle" on our cards.

The adorable image I am using on my card is "Fast Eddie".



I embossed the image with black and painted it with Tombows. I added some flocking to his hair and tail. The circles are cut with my nesties. I used my McGill punch for the fern. I added some mulberry roses and some flat backed pearls.

COLOUR CREATE CHALLENGE #39

Good morning everyone...
I hope you are all having a great week.... we had quite a little snow storm this week and are expecting more in the next few days. Darn... just when I thought spring was on its way!!

We had some fun with our birthday celebration and a fabulous turn out for the challenge, so many gorgeous creations. A big Thank You for all the wonderful comments too.

I just love this colour scheme and decided this adorable image
"American Cowthic" from High Hopes would be just perfect for it....



I embossed the image with black and painted it with Tombows. The off-white on the cows was painted with icicle H2o's. I did some ripping and distressing on the card stock to give it a bit of a rustic look. I added some glossy accents to the pitch fork and bell. I used some natural jute for the braid and the bow. The brads are silver and I punched the circles with an ordinary 3 hole punch and glued them into the center.

I hope you are all having a great weekend so far.
It's time again for the High Hopes Challenge. This weeks challenge is brought to us by our lovely Guest Diva...Melanie and she has is asking us to "Add Texture".

The adorable image I am using for my card is "STING" by Dustin Pike.


I embossed the image with black and painted it with Tombows. I added glossy accents to the flower center and his wings. The frames were cut with my nesties and I used my white gel pen for the dots on the scallops. I used my MS drippy goo border punch for the top and bottom borders and added glossy accents to the drips. I embossed the whole card with a CB folder. I also added some flat backed pearls.

Wags N" Whiskers Challenge

Good morning everyone
It's time for the Wags N' Whiskers Challenge.
This weeks challenge is brought to us by the lovely Jacqui and she is asking us to use our "Favorite Things".

This is really difficult for me as I have so many favorite things, but I decided to use one of my favorite colour schemes and papers.

The adorable image I am using for my card is "Let's Do Lunch" from the "Wee One's Collection".



I had this template for a lunch box and it's actual name is "Let's Do Lunch" and was created by Lauren Meader.

I embossed the image with black and painted it with Tombows. I added some frosted lace stickles to her collar and belt. I used my nesties for the frames.



The DP is from a DCWV paper pack. I used my EK Success scallop border punch and some flat backed pearls. The handle is made from florist wire.

Motivet DT Card

Good morning everyone,
Just a quick post today...I have a million things on the go.

I designed this card for Motivet using the new release set. I have used all but 1 of the stamps in the set. This adorable stamp set is available here. I just love stamp sets and theme stamps, perfect for making stair step cards and side step cards. This set is perfect for masking as well.

This card is a Side Step card.


I embossed the images with black and painted them with Tombows. I cut them all out and layered them with foam tape. I added black craft wire for the strings on the balloons. I used my nesties for the circle. The DP is from DCWV.

It's time for another High Hopes Challenge. This weeks challenge is brought to us by the talented "Sirpa" and she has chosen a "Recipe......3 Buttons, 3 flowers and 3 DP."

The adorable image I have used on my card is "Dragon Go Round"....by the talented Dustin Pike.



I embossed the image with black and painted it with Tombows. I used my nesties for the circles. The flowers were punched with my EK Success small retro flower punch and the fern is from a MS punch. I added some red craft wire to the buttons and some flat backed pearls for the flower centers.

Wags N' Whiskers Blog Hop and Motivet Sketch Challenge

I embossed the image with black and painted the bunnies with icicle H2o's and then coloured them with Tombows. I cut out a second flower , added glitter and popped it up.I cut the frames with my nesties. I made the border with my new MS hydrangea border punch. I punched it twice and cut out the flowers, shaped them and popped them up too. The DP is from Basic Grey.

MOTIVET SKETCH CHALLENGE

Happy Friday to you all...it's time again for the Motivet Sketch Challenge. There is another fabulous sketch for you to follow.....don't ya just love it when half the work is done for us, I know I do...!!

The adorable image I am using for my card is "Teddy with Flowers".


I embossed the image with black and painted it with Tombows. I cut out a second flower and popped it up. I added some glossy accents on the bee's wings. I used my EK Success retro flower punches and my MS fern punch. I stamped some small leaves on the orange paper and embossed them with clear powder. The gorgeous DP's are from Basic Grey.

Sneak Peeks Day2 and Colour Create Challenge Blogaversary

Good morning everyone

Well... I have a fun packed and rather long post for you all today!!

First of all we are celebrating the 1 year blogaversary at the Colour Create Challenge.

The adorable image I have used on my card is " Best Friends Forever" from Wag's N' Whiskers "Wee Ones Collection".



I embossed the image with black and painted it with Tombows.
I used my nesties ovals for the frame and used a piercing tool to pierce the holes.I used my MS heart punch for the border. The flowers were made with my MS hydrangea punch and I added a metal spacer and a flat backed pearl to each flower. The DP is from Basic Grey.

Wags N' Whiskers Sneak Peek Day 2

I embossed the image with black and painted it with Tombows.
I cut out another set of flowers and layered them. I did the border with my MS flower border punch. I also added some tiny flat backed pearls. The Dp is from a Basic Grey paper pad.
I cut out the sentiment from the DP.

WAGS N' WHISKERS SPRING RELEASE

Happy Wednesday everyone....

I am so excited to share a sneak peek of the Wags N' Whiskers new spring release with you today. They are all so beautiful I had a hard time choosing which one to do first!

The image I finally chose is "Hey Grandma". Isn't he just adorable!!


I embossed the image with black and painted it with Tombows. I used my nesties for the frame and the stars. I stamped "hello" with Perfect Medium onto the purple cs and cut the stars from some extra DP. The DP is from a DCWV paper pack.

I embossed the images with black and painted them with Tombows. I added some glossy accents to their eyes and the bubbles. I added some wire mesh to the side of the card and some craft wire for the string on the balloon. The DP is from a DCWV paper pack.

It's time for the Wags n' Whiskers Challenge. This weeks challenge is brought to us by the lovely Nikki and she has chosen "Charming". Nikki would like us to add a charm or metal embellishment to our card.

The beautiful image I am using for my card this week is "Bear Hug".




I embossed the image with black and painted it with Tombows. I painted her wings with icicle H2o's and added frosted lace stickles. The side border is done with my MS doily lace punch. The flowers are punched with my EK Success med. retro flower punch and my MS hydrangea punch. The fern is also a MS punch. I added some flat backed pearls for the flower centers. The little butterfly charm was silver and I painted it with some Ranger gold alcohol ink. The paper is from Basic Grey. I made the bow with my handy dandy Bow Easy.
